The Tui, also known as a Bell bird.

  1. The preferred diet of the tui (Prosthemadera novaeseelandiae) is nectar and honeydew, followed by fruit. In the breeding season they will also eat some insects.

    The bellbird (Anthornis melanura) is also a nectar eater, but is much smaller and a different colour from the tui. They are two entirely different species.
