There’s no snow like new snow

In the background, "Unwanted, unlived, unloved"

It’s always a bit of a thrill to see the first snow of Winter to fall. As I’ve always said, the whiteness of of the blanketing snow hides all that is dirty and ugly.

Big white powder snow falling like so much feather dander from the sky. A huge distraction, pretty to look at, but given a week of it, it becomes a slippery peril to walk on.

  1. All the snow around here has been melting soon after it carpets the ground, so no accident-inducing ice to worry about just yet. I’m hoping the appearance of snow in December means a white Christmas here for once.

    • Instead of a grey Christmas with dirt topping everything off? The snow is melting out wher I am too, but the signs are there: breakout the cold weather gear.
